Enchantment with Bach Remedies

Hi again,

I spoke about my fascination with Homeopathy in the previous post, the story will remain half unsaid if I fail to mention my enchantment with Bach Remedies. There is an interesting Self-realisation as to what egged me towards Bach Remedies.

The first thing about Homeopathy that daunted me was I was from a non-medical background and knew little or nothing about physiology. I knew the mind and the heart, but I did not know the first thing about organs, their role and inter-connection. To explain these minute intricacies which were vital to becoming a good practitioner, I needed a good teacher, a teacher who could enlighten me and bear with my ignorance without ridiculing me. I never found a patient teacher and thus I never gained the confidence (even after passing my diploma exam twice and gaining the bachelor’s degree with a distinction) to practice Homeopathy. The other thing scary about homeopathy is the plethora of medicines! Homeopathy has more than 2000 remedies. How in the world could I remember so many?

Now, this is where Bach Remedies made their way into my life. They are mainly 38 Bach remedies and within these 38 lay the myriad complexities of the mind, emotions and behavioural issues. The answers to all of them lay within these 38 remedies! This was the most encouraging thing for me. Thus, began my journey with Bach Remedies.

The site I refer to for Bach remedies is : https://www.bachcentre.com/centre/remedies.htm. It contains a wealth of information and the more inquisitive the learner, the likelihood of deriving more meaning and answers from the information provided.

I gradually learnt to use Homeopathy and Bach remedies in conjunction. I rely mainly on Homeopathy still; but Bach remedies help me gain a better understanding and assurance.

I will share a case where I used both the remedies in my next post.

Till then. .
