As my inner adventure continues, my newest learnings come from the book, Mindset. All the books I have mentioned and shared my learnings from, complement each other. They have helped peel some layers, reveal a different side of me to myself. I am trying to incorporate the learnings from all the books I have shared. Though all the books have the same essence, they have targeted different aspects of my personality! Atomic Habits is more rational, logical for me, highlighting the excitement of a boring disciplined life. NVC is close to my heart, and it affects me emotionally. The way to live at peace with myself, and sleep like a baby is what NVC teaches me. Lastly, Mindset revealed a new side of me to me😊! Being disciplined and committed is good, but without a growth mindset, I am time trapped and stopping my own evolution. All my hard work was going down the drain, and this book has come at the right time helping me pick myself upwards!

I will close this with an anecdote shared by my Master (Kamlesh.D. Patel) in his book, The Spiritual Anatomy.
“A saint and his entourage showed up at the gates of a kingdom seeking refuge….The King sent a pot of water and sugar with a guard and offered it to the saint. The saint smilingly mixed the sugar into the pot, until the sugar the sugar dissolved and asked the guard to take the pot back to the king….The king asks the minister to taste the water, who replies, “The water tastes sweet, your highness.
The King smiles and says to the guard, “Usher in the saint and his entourage with greatest respect….””
“The pot full of water was a cryptic message, “We are already at capacity, how can we accommodate you?” The saint’s response, “Just as sugar dissolves in water and merges with it, we to, shall integrate into your kingdom and infuse the sweet goodness of virtue and nobility in your people.””
In my daily struggle to do everything, I feel like the king, too much to do and too little time or space! The saint’s response gives me hope! I have the potential to add a little sugar… do more.
